COMPLAINTS:
1. Registered groomer or registered cat grooming centre who are accused of misbehaviour will be required to defend themselves before the MCGA board. If the misbehaviour claim is confirmed, the MCGA reserves the authority to revoke the member's membership, remove any titles and privileges, and bar them from using the MCGA name or logo in any way.
2. Complaints will be handled in the appropriate manner depending on the content of the complaint.
3. Misconduct can include (but not limited to);
Unprovoked abuse or harassment of other members either in person or in the industry.
Proven abusive neglectful or repeated injury to animals under the groomers.
Refusing help or further training to prevent further issues.
Wilfully damaging the reputation and name of MCGA.
Keeping unsafe or unsanitary working premises
Note: Proof of abuse in the form of written or photographic evidence must be submitted along with the complaint, second hand word of mouth is not acceptable.
