The Malaysia Cat Groomers Association (MCGA) requires all professionals & certified professional cat groomers to register with them in order to lawfully practise cat grooming in Malaysia. MCGA will guarantees that a professional cat groomers & a certified professional cat groomer has the knowledge, skills, and competency levels to deliver safe and effective cat handling to all cats during grooming through registration.

The Malaysia Cat Groomers Association (MCGA) also requires cat grooming centre (salon, spa and pet shop) to register with them in order to lawfully offer and run the cat grooming business in Malaysia. MCGA will guarantees that cat grooming centre comply to the standard and quality of a grooming procedures (space / area, facilities, safety, hygiene, products, tools and the grooming process) through registration.

Our MCGA registered groomers and registered cat grooming centre will have an access to a variety of member benefits plus all of the following advantages:

TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP

Individual – this is a registration for an individual groomer with your own business or working for someone. 

• Fees Chargeable: Yearly - RM300.00.

Corporate - this is a registration for cat grooming centre and applies to a single business location whether you groom from home or operate your own mobile grooming business or you operate from commercial premises. 

• Fees Chargeable: Yearly – RM900.00.

Exclusive - Exclusive Partners - this is a limited / selected member into our association. It can be anyone, cat lovers  or cat parents in the industry. 

Fees Chargeable : Yearly - RM50.00

1. FREE basic starter kit for cat grooming (worth more than RM50)

2. 15% discount for all cat grooming at salon spa registered under MCGA.

3. FREE seminars / online classes from time to time.
